Have my first reservation through them. Send an e-mail with a request - no reply. There is no online booking visibility, an e-mail to the customer service came back, Mailbox unavailable or access denied. The site says that they are a part of Thomas Cook and I haven't yet contacted the hotel regarding the reservation, but I'm getting curious.
Thank you

Is there some reason you aren't just booking with the hotel directly?
yes, a pretty obvious one: the price. And please, let's not have a discussion here how much better it is to make reservations directly with a hotel/airline/cruise etc. - a) this is simply not necessarily true, b) I have a specific question and would like a specific answer.
HolidayHotels in fact represent Hotels4U.com, Transfers4U.com, Medhotels.com and HolidayHotels.com. Now, when making a booking on their site there is a place for one name only, namely whoever is paying. I made a reservation for my friends, asked to have a confirmation in their name - and got a response from Hotels4U that the name change costs $22.
It is not such a big amount, still cheaper than other options, but I am annoyed why I am being forced to pay for something I had no control about?
Any advice from UK to whom I may complain, starting with Thomas Cook?
Thank you
