Has anyone taken the Hop-on-Hop-off bus tour in Santiago? Where would we catch it? We are staying at the Sheraton on Avenue Santa Maria 1742.
Has anyone used Grayline in Santiago or to Valparaiso? Is the weather too bad the first week in July to take a trip to Valparaiso, coast, etc.?
We will be in Santiago for about a week on business and hope to see as much as we can during our times off. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

There is also an excellent walking tour (for tips) which starts in front of the cathedral every day at 10 am and 3 pm. It is a four hour walk, which you don't feel, and is very informative but also fun. Unfortunately the excellent pre-columbian museum is closed while an extension is being built.
The weather in winter is variable; you get some great sunny days but can also get rain and cold. It is best to decide on a trip to the coast when you see what the weather is like. I would take a tour for Valparaíso. The hotel should be able to offer you some options.
