I am planning a trip to Chile in Jan 2012. I am thinking about flying to Calama.
Just wondering how reliable is Sky Airlines services. The latest post in this Forum was from 2010, so if anyone could give me a more recent updates either on Sky or flying between Santiago and Calama, I would greatly appreciate it.

We flew Sky airlines several times in Feb/March 2011 Absolutely no problems. All the flights were on time, I did have some trouble with their website, but I contacted them via email and they corrected the issues.
Sky Airline has 8 ageing Boeing 737-200s flying mainly internal routes, including this relatively long haul to the tip of Chile.

They have been fine for me in the past cleaper than LAN
the better carrier with newer planes...LAN tends to
double and triple charge tourists with fees in Peru it
is $178.50 per leg for non-residents so I never fly them there
