Safety in Rio

Jump to last reply

Good morning all, we are visiting Rio in November, could anyone advise me on how safe/worthwhile you believe any of the following activities are in a group of 4:

1. Visiting Corcovado at Dusk
2. Visiting Sugarloaf Mountain via cable cars at dusk
3. Walking the Parque Nacional da Tijuca (not as a tour)
4. Taking the new Favela Cable Cars
5. Attending a football match
6. Riding the streetcars over the arcas de lapa
7. Attending an organised favela tour

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
