Restaurant Iguazu Falls

Looking for a special birthday dinner restaurant in Iguazu Falls. I am going to Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls in early March with three friends, all of us seniors. I have been following the threads on this site for a couple of months and thank you all for the information that has enabled us to plan a wonderful trip. One of us is having a special birthday while we will be in Iguazu Falls and hope you can recommend a restaurant that will enable the vegetarian in our group to also have a great meal.

You have posted in the Brazil forum but don't specify the town (there isn't a town called Iguazu Falls) Do you mean Foz de Iguazu in Brazil or Puerto Iguazu in Argentina?

If the former, I can't help but if the latter then Ristorante La Tosacana is a decent Italian that should cater for veggies. Restaurants Puerto Iguazu get very busy and getting a table can be a problem. Book in advance or expect a long wait!

Thank you for your response, We are staying in Puerto Iguazu, Argentina and my posting under Brazil is my error. Will look up Ristorante La Tosacana.

Have a great "special birthday dinner" with your friends, seldredge.

It would appear I'm late to the ball regarding a reply to "restaurant Iguazu Falls", but someone else might want my input.

Take this with a grain of salt, but we loved La Toscana when we visited Iguazu. I'm amazed that our visit was some 9 years ago. That restaurant was marvelous, and we took dinner there at least twice.

Hi to all from Minnesota.
