We live near San Francisco. Our 17 year old (at boarding school in UK) is going on a school trip to Ecuador/Galapagos Islands Dec 7-19 from UK (Flying Iberian through Madrid)
I can't work out the easiest way to get him home without flying through Miami or Houston.
Any ideas please?
He has traveled back and forth to UK since age 14 many times and can cope with changing planes (not Mexico City or am I being needlessly cautious?)
Also any ideas on the safety aspect of him hanging out at the airport in Quito possibly for several hours after his school buddies head back to Europe.
Thanks for your help!
