Peru Itinerary Advice

Jump to last reply

I fly to Lima next Friday and then to Cusco Saturday morning. So here's what I'm thinking after that.

Day 2 - Arrive is Cusco, taxi to Urubamba
Day 3, 4 - Sacred Valley - hike, sightsee, relax
Day 5 - Train to Aguas Calientes
Day 6 - MP, then train back to Cusco
Day 7, 8 - Cusco
Day 9 - Flight to Lima
Day 10 - Late night flight home

OR

Day 2 - Arrive in Cusco, taxi to Urubamba
Day 3 - Sacred Valley
Day 4 - Train to Aguas Calientes
Day 5 - MP, then train back to Cusco
Day 6 - Cusco
Day 7 - Fly to Arequipa or Bus to Puno ???
Day 8 - Arequipa or Puno
Day 9 - Back to Lima
Day 10 - Fly home

So the whole time in Sacred Valley / MP / Cusco or 2 days in Arequipa or Puno.

Any thoughts?
