Need Lima restaurant recs

I'm heading to Peru next week. I would love restaurant recs for Lima and Cusco. Is Astrid y Gaston, Central or Maido worth it? Any others worth trying? I'm traveling on my own, but would love to sit at the bar and have some great food at on of these restaurants. In Cusco, Ciccholina has been recommended.
Thanks for your help!

I didn't get to Central, but we ate at Maido and loved it. It was definitely worth it.

We loved Astrid y Gaston. We had a 5.5 hour, 20 (!) course menu celebrating the restaurant's 20th anniversary, and that was a little much, but it was a very memorable experience.

We also enjoyed Saqra. We did not have a particularly good experience at Huaca Pucllana -- we felt the food was mediocre, and the service was horrible (this was in 2014 -- things may have changed).

I also meant to add -- Cicciolina was our favorite meal in Cusco. We went for a late lunch and sat at the bar. It was fantastic.

This is a couple of years old now, but you might enjoy my photos of our fabulous meal at Astrid y Gaston.

You will need reservations at Central, and its probab!y too late..Should be ok for A & G as it has lost a bit of luster.
