My (entertertaining & illustrated) advice on the best ever Peru itinerary
A big hello to all jolly forum locals and passers by!
My name's Nastya and I am a (slightly insane) world traveller. Peru's one of my favourite countries and def. one of the best (most adventurious) travel memories. I am honestly truly envious of those of you who are still to experience this *hilarious* place!
I do clearly remember spending quite lot of time trying to plan out the best itinerary in the very short time available (I had mere 12 days overall, which is nothing)- yet these were some of the most adventurous 12 days of my life).
So. The important thing - the itinerary. I did a full circle, solo - Lima (1d) - Paracas/Ica (3d) - Nazca (0.5 d) - Arequipa (0.5d) - Puno (1d) - Cuzco (1.5d) - MP (1.5d) - Sacred Valley (2d) - Lima (1d). And if I was to do it all over again, I'd do exactly the same route / time allocation except for Arequipa which definitely deserves MORE time (and Ica / Paracas maybe less time, but I found a jewel of a hotel / winery there which was an entertainment of itself and a highlight of the tour).
In any case, I've recently started a travel and adventure blog (my little obsession now) - so you can check out the impressions and pictures for yourself here, and hopefully this helps with travel planning:

Cheers all
