Is it your first visit to BA? How long will you be staying? It's in San Telmo which is an area we enjoyed visiting but not one I would have wanted to stay in......a little too far from the Palermo/Recoleta area sights and still transitioning.

I agree with Elizabeth on the location...its not as central as Recoleta or Palemro. However, on one of our trips we stayed a few days in ST and enjoyed it. I'd read a little about each of the areas and c which ones appeals to you. They are very different.
