Lima: hotels?

Hi! I need recommendations on places to stay at in Lima for 1 night..... I will be arriving late at night and leaving for Pisco-Paracas early the next morning.....any mid-range places close to bus stations?
Are there any hotels that would arrange for bus tickets?

We stayed at San Antonio Abad and loved it. I just checked their website and it's $70 for a double, including buffet breakfast and pickup at the airport. Lovely place. Check their webiste. Have fun. Peru is fantastic!!!

A word of warning. San Antonio Abad has rooms that vary widely in comfort. If you are arriving late at night and want to sleep, then you may be given one of the extremely noisy and run down rooms on the street. Thi pickup is in an old beatup wagon.

However the breakfast is good.

We stayed at San Antonio Abad a few weeks ago & were transported in a very nice van with a highly competent driver. Maybe the transportation has gotten better. Our rooms were not bad either.

Antigua Miraflores my fav for midrange with FREE LIM pickup

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...otel-Lima.html

www.hotelsanantonioabad.com

rooms to the back good for more budget

for a bit more not much

Radisson Decapolis Miraflres www.expedia.com

offers great views value for upscale hotel experience

at usually quite reasonable prices.

So it kind of depends on what you mean by "midrange"

Area around bus station too dodgy any of the hotels

above can get yor tickets or easy to buy at the station.

www.cruzdelsur.com.pe VIP seats best...

Thanks! By midrange, I meant something like $40-$60. I'm not looking for luxury. Basic and comfortable would work just fine. I will be leaving for the bus station really early the next morning. I figured Miraflores wouldn't be convenient for an early morning dash to the bus station. Will look into San Antonio Abad (thanks for the warning mlgb)and Antigua Miraflores though.
