Is my itinerary do-able?

Jump to last reply

Hi, so we're in South America for 7 1/2 weeks in March/Apr landing in BA and leaving from Santiago.

We're hoping to take advantage of the OneWorld airpass thing and have three internal flights in mind. Can someone please tell me whether this is feasible. Are we too rushed? Are any of the places I'm staying too long/ not long enough? I'm aware that some places require like a 12-24 hour bus ride to get to. Hopefully, we'll be able to find a sleeper bus for that but yeah, I count that time towards the next destination (eg. so Bonito having 4 days, but likely only have 3 days because it would take a long bus to get there from Iguazza Falls)

BA (3 days) -> Rio (fly)

Rio (3 days) -> Paraty

Paraty (3 days) -> Brotas

Brotas (4 days) -> Iguazza Falls

Iguazza Falls (3 days) -> Bonito

Bonito (4 days) -> Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz (3 days) -> Sucre

Sucre (4 days) -> Uyuni

Uyuni (4 days) -> La Paz

La Paz (3 days) -> Copacabana

Copacabana (2 days) -> Cusco

Cusco (6 days) -> Cordoba (flying to Lima, then Cordoba)

Cordoba (4 days) -> Mendoza

Mendoza (3 days) -> Santiago

Santiago (3 days) -> fly home

=52 days
