We are leaving and returning from Argentina and want see the falls from both sides. Is it easy to do this on our own or will we save time and see more by going on an organized tour?

It's very easy to do on your own. However, I must admit that we only saw the Argentina side. One key, I think, would be staying at the Sheraton where everything is literally in your backyard.

It might go against the grain but you will definitely save time by doing on organised tour and you may even save money - particularly on a visit to the Brazilian side because of the transport you'll need getting there and back.

It is possible to organize you own trip to see Iguazu Falls from both sides. However, if you want a more hassle-free time to enjoy at the site, an organized tour can help take care of all your transportation and border crossing logistics. A guide can also provide some useful background about the natural wonder.
