(This new Forum look is still a little hard for me to navigate...)
Anyway, leaving this weekend for a trip. Wlll spend 2 days in Chile and needing to know ~ how many pesos to get at the ATM at the airport. We have lodging and food provided, need money to buy:
wine (not the $$$$ wine), chocolates, snacks, light lunch, admissions to Neruda's house, etc.
Can you help?
How many pesos are needed?

Taxi from airport to hotel about US$30.
Wine at the supermarket or wine shop, anywhere from US$5 and up. At $US15 and up you can get very good wine, though no wine in Chile is bad.
Sit down with some cake and coffee, US$5 each somewhere nice.
Lunch somewhere nice but not over the top, about $US10-15 each.
Neruda's house, can't remember but cheap.
Add on for taxis or souvenirs.
You can pay for the wine, lunch, and airport taxi with credit card. Be sure to take one of the official taxis inside the customs area. Outside is cash only and more expensive.
Are you one of the nationalities liable for a reciprocity fee? You can do that with a credit card too.
