Hi, We have one night in Santiago and were wanting to stay somewhere central so we can experience as much of the city as possible. Any thoughts or suggestions on Bario Bellavista including how safe it is and hotels?
thank you

There aren´t many options for hotels in Bellavista. The boutique Aubrey is there but will set you back a lot of $$. There is the Hotel del Patio which overlooks the Patio Bellavista. It can be noisy, but if you like to enjoy the nightlife you will be making noise yourself and shouldn´t mind. The rest are really hostels. Barrio Lastarria is lively and has lots of restaurants, cafes, a small museum/art gallery. Look at Alojamientos on the left.
