Has anyone taken the Pluna Lineas airline

Thinking of flying from AEP to Punta del Este. This was the only airline I could find on expedia. Is it a good airline to take? Are there any alternatives? Thanks.

Aerolíneas Argentinas also flies to Punta del Este, but I would prefer Pluna.

Have a great time in our country and with our cousins East of BA.

Last evening we flew Pluna Montevideo to Buenos Aires. No problems at all, in fact a comfortable flight and pleasant atmosphere. EVERYTHING is a la carte, though, any checked bag, snacks - even water. Except for that, it was quite nice on Pluna.

Hi MarnieWDC , WOW, it seems they are tightening their belt as much as possible, I read some, place that is been sold or about to that is to become private But I am not sure.

. Of course when it was a Government airliner. The airliner of Uruguay, it had way toooooooooo many public employees.
This is the story of other wise a lovely country, the State is everywhere, for instance electricity is very expensive, so expensive that is sad to go in Winter and to find out that every home has the minimum possible of lights on.

Hi Graziella,

Aren't we fortunate, then, to be snow birds...lots of natural light, and daylight savings time to boot, in Uruguay in summer.

I had not known Pluna was going public...perhaps they will remain a decent airline, like Lan.
