We have been given flights from Lima to Madrid travelling on an Iberian flight. Are the reports about this airline being terrible true. It is a long journey and we have not heard a good word about Iberia but have never flown with them..

We flew Madrid-Buenos Aires and Santiago-Madrid in Business Class with Iberia and were not impressed. The alleged lie-flat beds were only 150° recline and not very comfortable. They may have changed these. Service was poor.
For our next trip to SA Madrid-Santiago and Lima-Madrid we made sure we flew LAN which had true lie-flat beds which were great. Service was good.
To be fair though all the connecting flights to/from London were Iberia and service on these was good.
