Good beach town/city in Brazil in June??
Hi all! I'm going to Brazil with a friend in June and will have a few extra days, while she travels to Iguazu. I have already seen it and would like to spend a few days at the beach. I know the Northeast will be better as it will be warmer, but would like suggestions on somewhere to go as a single female. Are there beaches that more young people frequent? Any responses will be greatly appreciated!

Buzios is likely your best bet. Most other destinations will require a flight, which will eat up precious time. Yes, farther north would get you better/warmer weather but that will take a few hour flight. If you do want to head north check out the GOL website for flights. Buzios has some great beaches and a very nice town. If you are there on a weekend the town will be more crowded, for the better, with people coming up from Rio. Have fun.

Buzios busy in June? Not particularly likely. You might see a few more people in July during school holidays but the weather will be cool and the water cold. Angra won't be any better.
Florianopolis will be very chilly in June. Not a good beach choice for winter.
Natal is simply dull.
Consider somewhere in the northeast. Salvador, Maceió, Aracaju or maybe João Pessoa.
