My son is backpacking and his atm card is not working. Trying to figure out best way t get him some money. He is currently in beach town of Canoa, says he is near San Vincente?
ANyone know if there is a branch of Banco de Guayaquil in either locations?
Has anyone used western union to such small towns? would you feel comfortable mailing an atm card to his hostel??
Thanks
getting money to son in canoa/san vincente ecuador

would be the way to go for me have done this with my son...
dennistourguide.com great guide super person helped
me a lot at no charge with my 2K road trip there last fall
I sure he can help you with local info if needed
Too much "skimming" to mail ATM card I so would not
do that... If he will go INTO any good bank
with his card and passport they will give him an advance.
saexplorers.org/clubhouses/quito good folks also if needed.
Good Luck!
