Flights on LAN

Jump to last reply

As of this writing, if you have tickets on LAN to fly in/out of Argentina and also for flights within our country, your travel plans are most likely to suffer significant alterations.

Our "government" has decided it doesn't want competition for its Aerolineas Argentinas.

See: http://www.buenosairesherald.com/article/131290/lan-airlines-halts-ops-until-saturday-on-provider-woes

and in Spanish:

http://www.lanacion.com.ar/1583190-por-presiones-oficiales-lan-suspendio-todos-sus-vuelos-en-la-argentina

I'm sorry to be the bearer of such bad news, but it is better for forum members to be prepared for this serious setback to their travel plans.
