Most are scams ripoffs I NEVER pay big fees up front etc to "volunteer" $100/wk max or free loding stipend preferred.

Foreign expat volunteering and galapagos cruise scammers are the worst I have seen now on the boards except for Maroc and Nepal where touts "experts" and fakes OPs are the majority of the posts.
Good luck you will need it huaorani.com is a super neat place do not think you can volunteer there I went on a tour but truly amazing.
