Driving in Peru's Sacred Valley - is GPS necessary???

Jump to last reply

Wondering if it is necessary to have GPS if only plan on driving in the sacred valley.

If the roadways are clearly labeled and there is adequate signage and you have a decent map it may not be necessary to use a GPS. But I'm not sure if this is the case. Does anyone have advice as if I need to buy the So Amer maps and bring GPS.

Again, I would only be driving in the Sacred Valley using Cusco as my 'base'.

Thank you, your help is appreciated.
