Hello. We are going to Peru and Bolivia. One of us is a citizen of Bolivia and need to spend about 4-5 days in La Paz visiting family. We have nailed it down to the following itinerary but I have a couple of questions:
Day 1 arrive at 10am in Cusco, transfer to Urubamba
Day 2 Tour Pisco & Ollantaytambo
Day 3 Train/Hike Inka Trail
Day 4 Macchu/Wayna Picchu, train back to Urubamba
Day 5 Cusco All Day Sightseeing
Day 6 Half day Cusco, 4:45pm flight to Juliaca, arrive 5:45pm, transfer to Puno
Day 7 AM tour to Uros islands, 2:30pm bus to Copacabana
Day 8 AM half day trip to Isla del Sol, evening pick up by family and drive to La Paz
Day 9 La Paz relax day/family
Day 10 La Paz (Half day Tiwanaku tour)
Day 11 La Paz sighseeing
Day 12 AM flight Uyun, 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour
Day 13 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour
Day 14 4x4 Salt Flats Jeep tour
Day 15 AM flight to La Paz
Day 16 La Paz
Day 17 Flight home
Couple of questions:
1. Does this sound doable? ![]()
2. Is one and a half days in Cusco enough?
3. Is it worth visiting the Uros?
4. Do we need to buy bus tickets from Puno to Copacabana?
5. Can we go to Isla del Sol for half a day by ourselves with no tour?
6. Does only 1 airline fly to Uyuni? What is the cost of the flight?
7. Do we need to book the tour ahead of time or just get it when we arrive?
8. Any recommendations on Uyuni tour company?
I know its a lot..so hopefully someone responds ![]()
Thanks!
Sergey

cusco is a nice place...just try to take easy on first day , avoid the altitude sickness ...drink coca tea. and my suggestion is 3 days in cusco. I use this agency for my tours in Cusco..wwww.mythical....
you have to visit the Cathedral, Sansayhuaman and Kiricancha
Good luck
