Hi! I'm going to be going down to Argentina, and after a brief stay in Buenos Aires, will be spending about 5-6 days in Cordoba (the city). Do any of you have any suggestions of sights or places to check out? I'll be there in the middle of June, if weather will make a difference. Thanks in advance!
Cordoba suggestions?

At last, somebody interested in visiting the wonderful province of Cordoba!!!!!!
This is what i would do in your shoes.
Stay in the city, like any other city but full of history. Stay in a hotel near the historic block. or on the pedestrian St.
Excursions
1.- Villa General Belgrano and stay there at least one night. From there visit Cumbrecita. this is the Calamuchita circuit.
2.-Visit Mina Clavero on the other side of the hills.I think they call it Traslasierra circuit.
3.- The historic estancias of the Jesuits will appeal to you if you like History as i do.
The excursion probably needs a night in one of the estancias. Worth it!!!!
Good luck and enjoy it.
milla.
From Buenso Aires there are excellent buses to go to Cordoba but the air rate is low so maybe it is better to take the plane.
Use buses there which are good and economical.
In june July the weather is milder than it is in Buenos Aires but dont expect warm days.
good discussion about this on tripadvisor forum
