I would only be limited to 6 full days, I really want to see a lot in those days. I'm aware plane travel is not too expensive in Colombia.I would like to do 2 full days in Bogota, late night head to cali by plane for one full day, late night head to cartagena for one day, Early morning take a 1 hour bus ride to Barranquilla for about 8 hour before returning to cartagena for late flight to Medellin. one full day in Medellin. Next day leave Colombia. All i have is six full days before leaving Colombia. Mostly by plane. I think I would enjoy the trip with limited time. Does anyone think it is possible as long as everything is planned right. I have been told that i should leave Barranquilla out of list.
Colombia possible trip

one more note one full night in cali
With just 6 days, I would visit just 2 places - you'll spend way too much time travelling. Maybe Bogota and Cartagena?
Whith only 6 days I would pick one city and enjoy getting the full flavor of the place. I have spent the last 3 years traveling Colombia and spent most of my time in Cartagena. I love the countryside of Colombia, it is very beautiful. The people in Colombia can vary greatly from city to city. I think the people in Bogota are more educated than other cities. Cartagena has the beach, but the local people pretty much ruin the experience by nagging you to death to buy something from them. Never change money on the street, you will get taken by the slick thieves and believe me there are many thieves in Colombia and the "Gringo" is always their first target. The country is beautiful but there are more negatives in Colombia than positives for the "gringo".
