Chile: How to break up two weeks.

Jump to last reply

I'm in the beginning planning of planning a two week trip to Chile during the first two weeks of April. I was there a few years ago and spent time in Santiago, Valpairaso, and Pucon.

This time we're thinking of a few days at a cooking school near Curico ( and to visit some wineries in the region.

and a few days in Puerto Montt and the island Chiole just south of Puerto Montt.

It is a long way from Curico to Puerto Montt and we're trying to decide how to break up the drive or perhaps do an overnight cama bus at some point. We'll likely fly into Santiago from the US originally. Will the weather in Puerto Montt still be pleasant in April?
