Celebrity Xpedition - Galapagos

Hi all,

Does anyone have any reviews or details about the Celebrity Xpedition? I am thinking of booking either the 7 day Inner or Outter Cruise to the Galapagos but am unsure which to do. Any suggestions, feedback or reviews would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Dan

Hi Celebrity is a good company, but I prefered to book a small boat just for 16 passenger because it is more easy to do the activities and you can visit any island very fast, when I traveled in a big ship over 100 passengers, it was a little be difficult to do the activities, due to the fact all the passengers visited the same place every day. so I was in Galapagos in January in a small ship double cabin Main Deck very comfortable and I made the booking trought a company based in Quito, if you would like the contact I can give you they are very reliable people, Edwin was the gentleman that helped me.

danielmiller77, I used festivaltourecuador.com ([email protected])company and the boat was Galaxy Yacht (first class). They gave me three options of ships(Mary Ann, Tip Top and Galaxy) all of these look great, the diference was the itinerary, becasuse I arrived to Quito Thursday at night, and Edwin organized a programm according to my flights, and Galaxy´s itinerary starts saturday so My itinerary was:
Thursday: Quito´s airport
Friday: We did City Tour and intiñan museum(Mitad del Mundo-Equator line)
Saturday: We Traveled to Galapagos
Next Saturday: We went back to Quito
Sunday: We had to come back to home.
They made it so easy, We arranged with them hotel in Quito, cruise, transportation and the visit to the old town, but try to contact Edwin the last name is Herora somthing like this.
He is the person who helped us and also he picked me up at the airport. It was a surprise

If you need more information please keep me in touch abou it

Good luck!

Hi Daniel. My husband and I traveled on the Celebrity Xpedition a few years back and really enjoyed it. It wasn't full, so had less than 70 people aboard, and had all the facilities you expect on a larger boat -- small pool, hot tub, well managed excursions (in small groups), multiple restaurants, bar, shops. We preferred a less "intimate" boat and found Celebrity to offer the perfect mix of our own space and professional attentiveness. I'd recommend it and would go with the same boat again if I was to go back.

Hope this helps,
Stephanie
