Cabo Polonio seems to be a very beautiful place, but info on accomodation is difficult to find over the internet, for some reason.
perhaps not so much choise... but I'm still going after a few weeks.
Anybody could recomend sth in the medium budget level there?

My pal Yahoo right away suggested looking at:
http://www.gonomad.com/destinations/0512/uruguay.html
http://www.cabopolonio.com/
Have a great time in our sister country from across the pond.
thanks avrooster,
it seems that the most common accom in C.P., is to rent a house for a few people for a long period.
not so easy for moving independent travellers...
there is also a hostel , but reviews seem mixed
anyway, I'll keep looking
have a good time
POSADA MARIEMAR sounds good.
Where did you find reviews for the posadas in Cabo Polonio?
I found few reviews for the only mentioned as 'cabo polonio hostel', by googling.
Regarding the posadas, basically, info from experiences is hard to get.
thanks for the mariemar tip, in fact I 've send them a message and haven't got a responce yet, or had some trouble with e mail -if I am correct, but I'll check again.
I wish the best
Well, nikosk, I certainly would not expect a prompt response to an e-mail message from that kind of place.
