We are going to Buenos Aires at the end of June. I've researched what the weather will be like during that time of year and the average temperature is 44°F without much rain. My doubt is concerned with what to pack. Should I pack a heavy coat or will a sweater with a jacket do? As we are two people, the difference in the amount of luggage will be substancial. I'd like to take only two carry-ons, but I think it's more important to feel warm.

The Inca Trail - It's a Long Way Down

We just returned from Buenos Aires and found it only needed a light jacket in the morning and evening. My daughter was perfectly comfortable in a light leather jacket. I wore a fleece and it was a little too warm. I was shedding layers as the day went on, and the restaurants are stifling hot. I thought I was going to pass out in some of them. I'm glad that I wore a tank top under my long sleeve shirt because I ended up taking off my shirt. The women wear the most beautiful boots but the shoes are terribly expensive there. Good luck! Any more questions, let me know. Fodors helped me plan and I want to pay it forward.
