Buenos Aires, Colonia de Sacramento, Montevideo, Rio

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are deciding if this will be our next vacation. We are thinking about flying from the US to BA for 3-4 days, taking a ferry to Colonia de Sac. or Montevideo (or visiting both), then flying to Rio for 3-4 days. We are not sure about the time in Col. de Sac and/or Montevideo. Anyone know how much a bus costs between those two cities? Is it around 3 hours?

I have read a few reports about these places and just trying to compile info at this point. Anyone been to Col. de Sac or Montevideo? Would 1 day suffice in each place?

I have looked at flights from Col de Sac and Montevideo to Rio and it looks like around $600 for 2. I looked at TAM, Pluna and Argentinas Aero. Anyone have experience with these airlines? Could you take a bus from Montevideo to Rio? Price? How long?

Thanks
