Beef in Tuna fish sauce recipe?

Yes, I do know it sounds a bit strange, but we had this a number of times when in Argentina and Uruguay. I am not sure what it is actually called but it is delicious. Does anyone know what it is called or, even better point me in the direction of a recipe?

Hi, Crellston!

Did you taste such a thing at Fervor, perhaps? LOL!!

Anyway, never heard of it, but Google knows about it:

When should we expect you back, so we can share a large egg salad? LOL!!!

Vitello tonnato, an Italian dish. Usually called Vitel toné in Argentina.

Many thanks guys! That is next Sundays lunch sorted!

As to when we are returning We are in the process of buying a proerty in the Cotswolds ( a region in England) which we are going to run as a small guest house. If all goes smoothly then we are aiming to return to South America for a month during our winter (i.e. Jan/Feb) undecided yet on where but Argentina, Chile and Peru (or a combination thereof) are on the list. If things do not go smoothly, then the temptation is still there to "do a scarlett" and make a more permanent move!
It would be good to meet up again but can we go somewhere where egg salad doesn't feature on the menu..

No problem with a place that features egg salad, as long as you don't eat it all and then complain about it. LOL!!!
