Argentine - travelling from one airport to another

Fellows travelers, be careful of curbside cabs in Buenos Aires. Last week I took one from the AEP to EZE .....and it cost me Arg Peso 300. The meter showed about 340, but I protested and gave 300 and walked away. The normal fare should be half that. I suggest buy the coupon in the airport and take one of those cabs, instead of the curb side ones.

My friend, we have been writing about those taxis ad nauseam , I am so sorry you did not read any of the many posts in Fodors on this unpleasant subject.

As Graziella5b points out, we have endlessly warned tourists NOT to take cabs from the line outside our local airport, known as AEP. Take a "remise" from one of the booths inside the airport and PREPAY for your trip.
