We made our 4th trip to Costa Rica in May. It was another outstanding trip in this great country. For the first time, we stayed at Xandari for a night which is highly recommended. Yes, it is a bit pricey but the villas, food, and gardens are really nice. We even saw some wildlife (mostly birds but we did have a close encounter with an Armadillo). Best of all, their airport transfers were perfect.
I can't say enough about Bosque del Cabo. It is still an amazing place and we love going back. We had some great sightings this trip including all 4 monkey species with babies on multiple occasions, lots of peccaries, birds galore, a tamandua, coati, agoutis, snakes, frogs...the list goes on and on.
I am happy to answer any questions that people have.

Beautiful photos as always, Alan. Thanks for sharing them.
As usual, amazing photos. What kind of camera/lens do you use?
Your photos are once again some of the best I've seen! We were at BdC just a week before you, but my photos aren't quite the same - lol!! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, those photos are amazing!
Thanks all. We find it's hard to take bad photos in Costa Rica.
RAC, most pictures were taken with a Nikon D300, 70-300mm, and a tripod. I pretty much didn't go anywhere without all three of those items. The sore back is worth it....
Thanks for posting. I was also curious about your photography equipment. Your efforts are evident in the quality of your work.
I use the same kind of lens (Canon) so no excuses for not producing amazing photos when we visit the Osa in February.
Great pictures as usual Alan! While I loved the Mayan ruins in Belize I feel it doesn't have near the physical beauty and wildlife of Costa Rica. Is there any place that tops Bosque del Cabo?
