Perhaps if you would tell a little more about what your primary goals are (cruise? tours? wildlife sighting? cultural?) you might get some advice. The usual respondents on this board are not typically sponsored/commercial tour takers, and are even less likely to have visited CR from a boat or ship. Our first visit to CR was from a ship, and that really didn't cover much ground.
Well, I have been many times in Costa Rica. For Example I was two months ago in CR. in both sides, Pacific and Caribbean a huge variably of wildlife nature and adventure. I just met a place in Limon Province called Veragua Rainforest Park. it was a great experience with nature , flora , fauna , canopy , rafting and much adrenaline.
