What to pack in October for BA, Iguazu and Mendoza
Luggage weight restrictions are so strict these days, I'm hoping someone can provide ideas on what to pack for a 2-week trip in October that includes Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Mendoza? I'm truly stumped how to pack efficiently for those three places.

Thanks, avrooster. We leave next week - hopefully the weather will be warm in BA, Iguazu and Mendoza? I hope to be able to pack efficiently items that are appropriate in all three spots.

We were in Iguazu Falls earlier this year and loved it. We decided to get the Yellow Fever vaccination. With the warmer temps and better probability of rain in October, you may want to consider insect spray. We stayed at the Sheraton Falls and splurged for the falls view room---it was well worth it. Our four days at the falls went by too fast…..

We are back from our Argentinian trip. It was lovely and warm in Iguazu - what a wonderful experience. I wished I had packed a few more items for hot weather - we got soaked from the spray every time we went for a walk near the falls. This is a casual, laid-back area. Wear what you would wear at home for a long walk on a hot summer's day! Nobody "dressed up" for dinner.

I returned just today from BA, Iguazu, Bariloche. It is spring now. In Iguazu, quite warm. BA, warm, but not so hot. Bariloche (and likely Mendoza) a tad cooler.
Here is one good place to check the weather:

I packed clothing that was quite casual, and that turned out to be exactly right. Leave the coat and tie at home; in BA folks weren't as dressed up as I expected.

I'd say that the evenings are going to be cool, but not cold by any means. September is basically the first month of spring.
In Mendoza it would be cool at night outside the city where we stayed... Finca Arco Iris - http://www.fincaarcoiris.com - I'd take something warm, or something to keep you warm, hat, light scarf, just to keep you from the breeze...
