Hey Yal!
I am getting ready to go on vacation to a Panama Resort and I am really excited for this trip. Last year I went to Breezy Palms in Chile and had the time of my life. I am really excited about this trip because of the different activities that we are going to have. I am really excited about the zip line and seeing different little animals. QUESTION…. What type of bugs or animals should I be careful with in Panama? Any tips on the different things that I should avoid or take to panama?
Thanks,
Zac
What do I need to take to Bocas Del Toro?

Sand Flies are a big risk there be careful
to take precautions...
We visited Bocas del Toro last year.
Our naturalist guide said there are no poisonous snakes in Bastimentos Island were your hotel is at. We visited a Ngobe Indigenous comunity that was beautiful, their nature trail was full of wildlife, the only thing we had to protect ourself from was mosquitos and san flies in the beach.
There are poisonous dart frogs, but their poison is very mild, our naturalist said not to touch them just because of the harm we could cause to them, seems that they breath and consume water through the skin, any DET or chemical on our hands is absorved by these creatures.
SUN BLOCK is a must.
Hope you enjoy as much as we did Bocas del Toro. You should visit the rest of Panama, well whorted!
How was the red frog beach resort? We are considering staying here in August with 3 kids. What did you like/dislike. Anything you would change?
