Try Gaialink Tours and Services--I've used them for several years and they're wonderful. The web site is www.gaialinktours.com.

We are going next month and we used costaricaonlinetravel.com
they also have an 800 number and our agent was Xenia. She was VERY helpful.
Have fun!

I did not use a travel agent, but Pat Hewitt of lovecostarica.com has been recommended in the past. He has posted in this forum before as well, if you do a search.

I can also recommend Pat Hewitt - and most important of all, he's honest. Incredibly honest. And knows CR very well (in fact, he owns a home there).
