Waterfall Repelling in Osa?

Has anyone done the waterfall repelling near Bosque del Cabo?

NEVER in a million years would I do this, but my husband thinks it sounds great!

No, but I hiked to some of the waterfalls near Matapalo which I assume are close or the same ones. We climbed several of the smaller waterfalls and hiked through the creek. Wear teva sandles or river shoes. Rocks that are submerged are safer and less slippery than rocks out of the water and wet from the mist. The minerals in the water scrub the slime off the rocks in the creek so- submerged good, wet rock from mist, bad. Even if you do not want to rappel the hike through primary rainforest is wonderful. We soon came upon waterfalls way to big and steep to climb up and I assume these are some of the falls people rappel down- very pretty.
Our "guides" were college kids on an extended stay. They were both getting ready to lead tours with a guide service and were friends of another person showing us Matapalo. They got to practice their spiel on us and we got a nice hike in the woods . We had a great time and would trust the local guides had we signed up for a waterfall tour.
Rock climbing harnesses are rated to insane weight(3000 lbs ??)and generally this is a "safe" activity. BDC will recommend a good guide. Go for it. Let your husband get his yayas out.

Thanks for your reply. I am sure my husband will do this, I sometimes wonder when he will grow up.

I must say, while reading your reply, I have had a major (much needed) chuckle at myself. Where in the world did my ability to spell correctly go?
