Trip Report Troncones Gem

Forty five minutes by good highway from Ixtapa/Zihuatenejo Airport is the small fishing village of Troncones which we think is almost perfect. Discover Hacienda del Eden and you will be delighted - a perfect stretch of beach with beautiful ocean and infinity pool, quiet surroundings, small, patio restaurant, very congenial owners Eva and Jim and a return clientele that loves this place. There are good deals in November and in August it rains. Book way ahead for other months.

We felt safe, happy and utterly relaxed at Hacienda del Eden and booked both a massage and a manicure. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Watch the waves, paddle boarders, horses gallop by, walk the beach, fly a kite, order a drink. You'll love it!
