Transport LIR to Manuel Antonio/must see's Manuel Antonio

We are flying into Liberia airport. Our first thoughts were to spend our 8 nights in an all inclusive in Guanacaste but I really would like to go to Manuel Antonio. I've seen a website for the Costa Rica Shuttle that will get us to Manuel Antonio in 3 hours 15 minutes for $50 each.
My question, has anyone used this shuttle service, what are other options (other than private shuttle which could be cost prohibitive) and what are the must see's in Manuel Antonio. I know I would like to do Villa Vanilla/Raniforest Spices. interested in hiking, hot springs, wildlife.
We plan on spending 4 nights in Manuel Antonio and then back up to the all inclusive in Guanacaste.
