Tour of fancy homes in Puerto Vallarta
I recently saw some reference to a tour in PV that takes you touring some of the fancy homes in PV. The last time we were there & walked by the Molina de Agua hotel there was a poster about it. Can anyone tell me more? Is it a legitimate fundraiser of some sort? Do you actually go into the homes or just view them from outside? How long does it take? Did you feel it was worth the $25 US (I think that's what it costs isn't it?). <BR>Thanks to all who respond.

This is totally legit. I go every year and it is my favorite thing to do there. It is a fundraiser for children in PV for schooling and medical care. You do get to go inside the homes and they are really something else! You go on a bus and usually see 4 homes, and it takes a few hours. This tour always goes from Molina de Agua and usually several times a week. The homes are volunteered by local residents to help raise money for charity. I think it is well worth $25 if you like to see beautiful homes. Have fun!

As everyone says, it's a great tour for a great cause! It's run by the International Friendship Club - a very well-established organization here in Puerto Vallarta. The money goes towards several of the much needed charities here in the area of Vallarta. Only runs during high season though.
