Toluca (TLC) or Mexico City (MEX) Airport?

Hello again,

Is it better to fly into the Toluca (TLC) airport or the Mexico City (MEX) airport if I will immediately be catching a bus (luxury or 1st class) to Morelia?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I would think Toluca. The airport is very small with just a few flights a day. You get off the plane and you are out the door in a couple of minutes. Likewise the traffic to the bus station is minimal compared to what you would encounter in MEX. But, I have not bused to Morelia from the station in TLC. I would think it would be no problem as it is a fairly big bus station and buses leave all the time to go all over the place. I beleive it is gerographically closer to Morelia so it should be all good.

Toluca's a good choice, for people wanting to head for Morelia. Toluca's also worth a day or two stop-over, for the city itself and the nearby areas.

Volaris a/l, an all exec class has its "hub" in Toluca and has some screaming bargain airfares.
