Tlaxcala , Mexico - help with accommodation please

Hello, we are spending 3 weeks in Mexico over Christmas, this is our second time there - we shall stop for 1 night in Tlaxcala between Mexico City and Puebla - can anyone recommend a decent hotel relatively centrally in Tlaxcala, not TOO expensive, but we don't want something basic either - good beds, aircon, wifi, nice ambience.
Thanks in advance!

Has anyone stayed at Posada Tlaxcala? It is centra, I believe. Also have been looking at Hotel Senorial in Tlaxcala - it seems to be a bit away from the centre, but has very good reviews so far?

Hi Patricia. I wrote a report on my hotel in Tlaxcala. I loved it. My report on the hotel is in this thread below. Posada de La Casona de Cortez is the hotel. Highly recommend it for location and value and atmosphere.
