Tabacon at night

I will be in Arenal the last week in January and would like to go to the hot springs at Tabacon. I heard that they have an evening time 7-10pm. I am worried that it might be too cold to go in the evening.....I've read that it is usually in the 60s in the evening...is that correct?

The simple answer is yes
But where are you coming from that you are concerned about temperature in the 60's F !!!!
Bring a sweater or light jacket along.
You are getting close to the Guanacaste region which is the dry hotter part of Costa Rica.
The temp right now on the Pacific Coast is 89-90F !!

Percy, the 60's is cool at night when there's no sun. The only good thing is that she'll be getting out of the hot springs so maybe that will make it feel warmer (or it might make it worse). I'll find out in a couple of weeks because I have a nightime reservation at the Tabacon Hot Springs. Amyv, lets just make sure we bring something warm to wrap up in!

I am sure it is cool in the evening.
I just wish it was in the 60F here right now!!!
Let us know what the evening temps are after you get back.
I was there in early November and wish I was in the Tabacon Hot Springs right now.
Have a good time

As I mentioned previously, the weather can be very variable. When we were there last Feb. (early in the month)it was very comfortable. I wore my bathing suit with just a light sundress over it to go to Tabacon in the early evening. After leaving there a day later we headed down to the Osa. Heard from some one that a cold front had come through right after we left and it was quite chilly. Be prepared for anything. Generally the temps given are averages. It can get down into the 60's at night but won't always do so. 70's are very comfortable particularly when you are getting in and out of hot water. Arenal/Fortuna can also be cloudy or clear. It is just one of those areas that you can not predict with 100% certainty.
