Suze- Just curious Suites Plaza del Rio

I happened to run across a add for Suites Plaza del Rio. While i can not imagine staying anywhere other than Los Cuatro Vientos (The Four Winds) I am fascinated at this place as the photos show a very nice place at friendly price. Just wondering if there is a catch they are not showing?

Stewbear, It's owned by Hotel Encino. It's a couple blocks away from the hotel on the street parallel next to Rio Cuale.

As far as a catch, only that it seems hard to get a reservation there. Lots of monthly snowbirds (from my recent research on Trip Advisor about the place). A few times people have reported being bumped back to the hotel, when they thought they had a reservation at the Suites.

Maybe this is where you saw it, but it's part of the Hotel Encino website.

Thanks Suze. Just curious as the rate seems very low for a apartment. As I said I doubt I will ever leave the Los Cuatro after 30 years there.

I could be wrong, but it's my impression that many of those units in that building rent by the season (like 3-6 months) or to Mexican families.
