Summer Skiing In South America

I am looking to take my little brother on a ski trip to South America. We are thinking about flying into either BA or Santiago, then skiing for a few days, and wrapping up in Rio. Any suggestions for a top notch, luxury trip? Thanks.

The two nicest places are either Las Lenas, stay at Hotel Pisces (flight from BA, Argentina) OR Termas de Chillan in Chile, stay at the main resort hotel (flight from Santiago). Don't go in July, this is school holidays in Latin America and jammed with families. I recommend you find a travel agent who is expert in these matters, plenty listed on the internet.

P.S. All the ski resorts sell ski packages of one week, as in Europe. By all means do wrap up in Rio, always hot and pleasant. Stay at the Copacabana Palace, the best in LA and the place to see and be seen (around the gorgeous pool).

Hi Matt-if you want a trip to remember, sign up for a tour with www.powderquest.com You will not be disappointed! I went last year with my sister and it was by far the most professional outfit we've ever traveled with( and we travel alot!)They have all kinds of itineraries for all kinds of levels. Good luck!

Obvious ad, but as fodors.com refuses to make it easy to report such posts....

I think that most people are able to recognize fake posts
Better not to have censorship
Good that you state your opinion

Regarding luxury skiing:
A tour including Hotel Llao Llao or
some of the hotels at Catedral skiing center (may be Pire Hue if I remember well or Catedral Hotel)
