San Jose to Puerto Viejo

Jump to last reply

Hi - we are looking forward to our trip to Puerto Viejo later this month...but I'm having some trouble finding transportation from SJO airport to the Puerto Viejo area. We are flying in at 11:50am on a Saturday...and it seems that any shuttle out of San Jose would have left in the early morning. Is there a shuttle out there that I'm not finding? Or, do they really all only leave at 8am? This is a precious short trip (5 days only!) and we don't want to have to spend the night in San Jose in order to transfer to PV!

Any suggestions on the best way to get from SJO to PV if we need to set out in the early afternoon (via ANY mode of transportation?)

Thanks!
