We are looking for a quiet remote location with beach access where we can go snorkeling, swimming and surfing. We have been to the OSA and would like somewhere different with lodging right on the beach. Any recommendations greatly appreciated in regards to hotels. We would like to splurge a little so higher end is fine.
Samara, Santa Teresa or???

We loved Samara, but don't recall a "higher end" hotel on the beach. Check on these forums, as Samara has been discussed a number of times. Let us know what you decide!
