Berendo, I just discovered your post and can't wait to read you trip report and to see your photos.
Unfortunately, I'm going out soon and will have to wait til tomorrow! I am so looking forward to it.
We will be with Angie in April and also I'm about to contact Isabel to arrange our internal flights.

In case anyone wonders who are these people kodi is talking about, Angie is an independent Salta guide who posts here as flintstones and her e-mail is [email protected]
Isabel is a BA travel agent who also works on her own. I can't remember Isabel's screen name at this time, but she has always been very helpful in this forum and her website's URL is
http://buenosaires-tours.com.ar/
and her e-mail is: [email protected]
The fact that these two ladies work on their own almost guarantees good service, because their income is entirely dependent on their clients' satisfaction and referrals.
I have used both of them myself. Angie, who calls herself Giena on tripadvisor.com is repeatedly mentioned in this LONG Salta trip report: http://tinyurl.com/jsgu8
Have a great time in our country.
