Royal Hideaway/Ikal del Mar

Any tips on discounted rates at either of these places? We are going in low season (Oct-Nov) but rates are still pretty steep.

The best I have found is
$450 a night at Ikal
$477 a night at Royal Hideaway

Any other places to stay that are comparable to these two hotels?

Thanks

The RH is an Ai,the Ikal isn't, although you probably know this.

What about a 5 star hotel in Cancun?
The Ritz, the LeMeridien are gorgeous and have the best beach in the entire area. Also, the JW Marriott.
If you don't want Cancun, try Maroma.

Try www.luxurylink.com . Since its still low season you might find a deal. We saved 50% on our 5 day honeymoon at Maroma by using Luxury Link than by using online booking or a travel agent, and got all the same perks. We'll be there Nov 8 so if you come to Maroma, let me know!

Travelmom - Did you go to either or both of these places? I'd be interested to hear what you (or anyone) thought. We will be traveling to both for our honeymoon.

Thanks!
